Am the little drummer boy...

gotta love the way he so meticulously turns the tin over and over to check for the most pleasing surface to drum on; just as he later checks to see if the blue spoon doesn't sound better! It was a long rainy day here on Sunday; perfect for drumming practice. Let's just say that I have now 'hidden' the tin someplace special...

He even eats with it Mum!

Hi Mum and Dad - if you need any further xmas gift ideas for the little fella then I suggest you keep an eye out for more wooden cars/trucks/bulldozers etc. Amory has been pushing his yellow bulldozer all over the house for weeks - he's reluctant to part with it even for dinner as you can see. Yet with a smile that this, it's hard to refuse the little man!

National Museum

I was up in Canberra for meetings on Thursday that mercifully finished early so I spent part of the afternoon roaming the National Museum. Let's just say that the building is a whole lot more impressive than the collections housed inside.

on the farm

We went to a picnic on the farm on Saturday. Good photo Birdie. Thanks for a fun time Annie Kade and Don! On the way home we drove through a rainbow.... I think that sums up the type of day it was.
