Spiderman Hi-Jinks!

For reasons neither Andrea nor I can fully understand, Amory has developed his first full-blown obsession; in this case as the photos here show, for Spiderman himself. I mean the boy is obsessed! Spiderman pyjamas have become all-purpose, wear everywhere, dirt and little kid muck defying, never-need-washing, "will always save the day" must have right now, essential winter wear! Otherwise, the obsession continues, luckily there was a face-painter present at Sadie and Scout's birthday party yesterday so the fact that Amory's mean, nasty parents wouldn't let him wear his pyjamas to the party was tempered somewhat by the experience of having his face painted up just like spiderman. Good times, as usual! Oh and don't ask me about the two glue bottles! Heaven only knows the mind of a precocious three-year old after all. Apparently the boys were playing "Bob the builder" at the party and couldn't find a hammer and nails so ever the quick thinker Amory thought that glue might just about do the trick and so proceeded to acquire a second bottle for himself, just in case I suppose. Big job this being a three year old, so many responsibilities and so many small minded adults around to get in the way of the best laid plans...
